synopsis

Lea Bustamante (Vilma Santos) a volunteer for a human rights organization is a non-conformist woman who shuns the stereotypes of the majority. She teaches her daughter Maya (Serena Dalrymple) to recite an unconventional and witty poem about human conception in her kindergarten graduation ceremony. This caused an argument between her and Maya's father Ding (Albert Martinez), who is a weakling mama's boy who feels compelled to always obey his mother's commands.
